Liv was excellent, attentive, welcoming and professional. Food (fish and chips / venison & juniper pie) was awesome. Venue great but a little too dark. Overall a very enjoyable evening, we will be back!

We went for the quiz, as we had heard it’s brilliant, and it did not disappoint! We have done quite a few pub quizzes around Hitchin and this was the best by far. The Quizmaster is funny and imaginative with the rounds, and we had so much fun. Our group had a selection of small plates from the bar menu and it was all delicious - especially the treacle and ale soda bread!<br>Booking for the foreseeable - only downside is it’s only once a month!

As always people consider food utmost in teviews, but for us good food with poor service doesn't work. This restaurant had the utmost polite and well established service. Hence our many return. On this occasion it was an anniversary celebration and the courtesy edtended to us in celebrating was outstanding. This is why this restaurant is our go to place for a Sunday meal . As always the food is brilliant and the prices are not excessive. I cannot recommend any other place...read full review
