We were in hartlepool and decided we needed a coffee. We dont do costa or Starbucks with the view of supporting local places.A quick Google online for speciality coffee shops brought back lilyanne's. The cafe suggests its hand crafted coffee etc. There doesn't appear to be anything special about the coffee. There's no information on the coffee supplied. Friendly staff, or proprietors, and a central location, being on Victoria Road, immediately behind a well-used bus stop. The place could have been a bit cleaner, but it was late in the day and it may have been busy just before we arrived. Unfortunately the cafe closes at 4 pm, as we were politely reminded a couple of times. The coffee Americano was great. The special "high tea" was quite alright, but somehow felt out of place here.
