Riverside Fish Bar

I have had skate 3 times from Riverside delivered to me within about 3 months. 1st skate and chips was beautiful so thought I have found a good fish shop 2nd order skate was over cooked with greasy chips. 3rd order skate well over cooked batter, it was awful and had mixed chips of pre cooked and fresh. If they changed management after my first skate then that must be why. I will not order a takeaway from them again. Which is such a shame as delivery was well on time.

This used to be good but afraid something has changed the chips do not seem as nice as they was before and sometimes not cooked enough it happened a couple of times and not been back since it's sad it probably was only a few times but I miss how it was.Other than that the staff are very friendly and a nice little shop so I gave it 3 stars.

Recently had a home delivery on a evening meal. Was told a hour delivery time and it arrived within 20 mins, food was hot, everything I ordered was delivered, which from previous places hasn’t been the case. Food was absolutely delicious and I could taste that everything was cooked fresh. I’ve since been in again for food after a long shift at work. And again couldn’t fault the food or the staff. So polite and helpful. I will definitely visit again
