Very disappointed, returned there for takeaway last night, I have no idea what they had done to the hoisen sauce: it was awful and in the smallest container ever. The sauce resembled BBQ sauce but tasted disgusting. Veg was not that fresh either. On the flip side there were loads of duck and pancakes. Don't think I'll be rushing back, there are plenty of other Chinese takeaways in Bathgate
Quiet (we were the only couple there) but very popular for carryouts. First visit for some time but very friendly and helpful staff and would definitely recommend the spicey king prawns - they were delicious and fresh not to mention filling.My husband enjoyed his beef sweet and sour dish too.
The best chinease in bathgate, i was pleasantly surprised at the sweet and sour chicken, it wasnt too sweet or acidic. The chicken was moist and cooked well, and you could tell this was fresh, good quality chicken. When ordering food i'd keep in mind that the portion sizes are a bit smaller than you would expect so it makes eating here a bit pricey, but i would say its worth it compared to the other takeaways nearby.
