The Pickled Ploughman

The Pickled Ploughman is a charming place to eat. The establishment is dog friendly and the decor is beautiful. My family and I stopped by for the fish and chips and were so pleased with our meals that we ordered dessert. The fish was fresh and hot. The breading was crispy and perfect. Lovely meal at this well-kept country pub. We had four young children with us and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Food was great with a good range of kids options and dietary choices. Pub was clean and toilets were sparkling and fresh! Service was friendly but quite slow considering the number of other tables

We needed a place to hold a wake for my mum and Brett and Natalie could not have dealt with the whole situation better. They were very sensitive and accommodating at a very difficult time. Their recommendations for how they would set out the space in the garden and the food were spot on. On the day everything ran smoothly and both the savoury and sweet buffet were excellent.
