The White Horse

We love this place and the food is amazing. Our last visit was quite disappointing though :(. No food is now served outside (fair enough, but a bit of a shame), outside area is not very pushchair friendly (pebbles) and the baby changing area is one of the worst ones I have ever seen. Really nice clean restaurant and helpful friendly staff.<br>Starters were excellent and puddings were excellent.<br>Unfortunately we ordered steak and despite the meat being cooked as it should (rare) it was chewy and practically inedible.<br>This place would be 5* but it's choice of butcher let's it down.

I visited the whole horse on a family birthday. What a pleasant surprise. A relatively modern look and feel inside. Nice and clean nothing over the top decor wise. The service was excellent & fast. The menu looked pretty standard but the surprise came when the food arrived. It looked excellent and tasted great. Well above what we expected for a village pub. I'd definitely recommend it and we'll be visiting again.
