Lovely old village pub, friendly staff, dog friendly.<br><br>Parking: Small village with limited parking on narrow roads, do not let this put you off, pub is very welcoming.

Great to see the Rose and Crown under new management since Nov 2023. Lots of locals at the bar, chef in the kitchen cooking delicious food and it felt like a proper pub again! Well done to all!! Will be coming back soon!! ????

We visited for lunch on new year's eve, to be honest we picked it because we didn't want a traditional Sunday roast as the next day was obviously new years day. We picked right ! Beautiful pub , full of atmosphere and history, a warm welcome from the staff and a roaring fire. The food was top quality, beautifully cooked , we couldn't have had better at a top restaurant.
