The Baa

The Baa, Great local pub, full of charm, country gents and of course sheep! Good value. Glass os white wine £4.00. And hand-pulles beers only £5.00. It is a country pub!! Visit, it's worth it. Although when we visited the weather was rainy, during better days there is a huge family orientated beer garden to enjoy. Nearly forgot to mention, DOG friendly too.<br><br>Parking: Free parking next to pub.

My wife and I just popped in and sunk three pints of Pennine Pale Ale, then took out a couple of Pizzas. Very friendly atmosphere, and the Pizzas were superb. We had (1) Pepperoni, mushroom and onion with garlic oil (2) Tuna, anchovies, olives and red peppers. Really good selection of toppings and you just choose your own combination. (No pineapple so they are obviously intelligent people). The prices in this place are unbelievable. Two pints for £7.50!

Popped here after an organised club run for pizza and a pint. Pizza was AMAZING. Service was great, staff very friendly and accomadating. Giving the atmosphere a 3 star as we sat outside in our group, the pub was busy inside, almost full but we didn't stay in there so feel its unfair to comment fully.
