Exeter Inn

Went for a lovely meal. We both had the lamb rump, partner had sticky toffee pudding, and I had the cheesecake. Everything was perfect. All of the food was amazing and very well done. Couldn't fault any of it. The staff were very very helpful, and attentive. I took my puppy, which is the first eatery, I've taken her to. She was well behaved, and very welcome. We didn't stay, but I heard them welcome overnight guests and again very accommodating. 100% recommend....read full review

Lovely food. I had the Shepherd's Pie. Tasted home cooked. Highly recommended. I didn't chat much cos I was processing photos and writing, but the bar area was lively with friendly chatter.<br>And they let me stay in my campervan in the carpark. Thanks.

We were staying nearby and wanted an early evening meal. As this pub was a very short drive away it was the obvious choice. The restaurant and bar area were pleasant and welcoming. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The French Onion soup was rich and full of flavour. I enjoyed the spicy beef salad, but be warned it is pretty spicy. The beefburger and the chicken burger looked delicious but disappeared before I could try a morsel. Plenty of parking.
