Having had many a delicious Sunday roast here we decided to try a Saturday evening for a change. We ate off the Spring menu where there's a choice of six starters, priced £7-£10. We both plumped for the Crispy Asian Duck with chestnuts, pickled walnuts, watercress and a chilli & ginger dressing. Three generous sized bonbons packed with lean duck meat and lots of flavour. We both enjoyed the main dishes & the desserts we had. The service from the staff was efficient & friendly. The old building (built originally as a Hunting Lodge I understand) & furnishing added to the experience.
