Duende Private Chef

Wonderfully tasty food from a talented kitchen - every dish had huge flavour and complexity. If you are a fan of taster menus or looking for supper after your afternoon tea this is a good place to eat. If you are looking for a square meal this is not the right place. The food was let down a little by slow service and everything then coming out at once. Still, it's different, tasty and worth a go if you are a foodie.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and they didn’t disappoint. I booked for my birthday 2 days before Christmas for the tasting menu which we all really enjoyed. The food was imaginative, cooked really well and was extremely tasty. The staff were truly lovely and it was nice to see Tim come out into the restaurant and interact with the customers. Thank you for making my birthday special … and many thanks for the Prosecco ?

We had a wonderful taster menu at Duende. Chef Tim Zekki had put together a really innovative menu with locally sauced produce. One course led you to the next one with the flavours getting steadily stronger as we went through the meal. The five courses started with delicate goats cheese curd with pickled pear and slithers of beetroot on a bed of butternut squash puree.
