Stones Bar and Grill

Visited last night with other half. Had booked a table online for 6.30. We arrived and were shown our table. Waitress quickly took our drinks order. I ordered garlic bread with cheese which was reasonably priced but i do think for 3 haggis bonbons and loads of lettuce it was a bit over priced at £9. I like this place, it definitely tries hard to be part of the community and bring decent food to the locals. Let me be clear - I will come back and eat. It’s trying too hard and missing the mark though. Food is fine. Not bad, but not worthy of the city prices they apply. Example £9 for three small haggis bon bons. £3 a pop! Really ? Had a lovely birthday meal at this restaurant - modern decor, good atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and great service - Natalie was extremely helpful and even suggested a few cocktails for me to try. Great size portions, steak was great and have recommended to a few friends to try out too! Only issue was we could hear the music from downstairs booming through but I guess it was almost 9 at night!
