Carluccio's

I've never been to a Carluccio's before and was not sure what to expect. I ordered a Seafood Linguine and was pleasantly surprised; the squid and prawns were tender and not chewy. My companion enjoyed their Chicken Saltimbocca, though the chicken was on the small side. The service was fairly decent, reasonably quick for lunchtime on a Sunday. Food was actually quite nice, let down somewhat by mediocre service. Seated quickly but then nothing for what seemed an age. They had run out of tomato sauce for the burger and getting mayonnaise was a struggle. A shame as it could very easily be a great experience. The automatic addition of a 12.5% service charge seemed to be pushing it under the circumstances.

The location of restaurant was great and had view to trains and the beautiful status in the level 2 of St pancras station. I ordered the chicken Milanese burger, the burger came with fries. The taste was fine and the fries were crispy.
