You can't beat a birds Caramel Donut, or as my Grandad called them an Elephants foot.You are paying more then other high street stores offering similar. But you get a far superior product. The sausage rolls, the potted beef, little jam tarts or a hot pork and stuffing cob.

One of those shops from your childhood. Still a real treat as always, cannot beat an Elephants Foot and a cup of tea or potted meat on toast. Just wish they still did the meat pasties with a crimped edge, delicious.

Kind of legendary in Derby, mainly due to their range of fresh cream cakes which are excellent and their freshly baked bread, potted beef and pork pies, which are also excellent.\\n\\nThey also sell a selection of sausage rolls and slices, like Gregg's, unfortunately like Gregg's they're not that great as it's pot luck wether it'll be warm or not.\\n\\nThe sausage, stuffing and apple sauce cobs are really nice though and I'd recommend them over anything...read full review
