We hadn't booked but they seated us in the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu selection was reasonable and out of the 4 of us no one complained about the food quality or heat. It all arrived together and although as they are set meals you cannot swap items it was easy to add additional. Ok it was midweek but the hotel was busy. We would call again if we are in area. Good food served hot and quickly, although to be fair it was fairly quiet when we were there. Tanya looked after us well, attentive without pestering us, and she and her colleagues were very pleasant and polite throughout. Terrific value for money as we were able to take advantage of the daytime price offer but even the full prices are very competitive. Will visit again.<br><br>Parking: Masses of parking shared with Premier Inn, generous sized bays and easy to negotiate.

Half chicken was like a thin slice of bacon which was burnt around the edges. The sausages seemed like they had been cooked earlier in the day, very chewy skin. Steak was very nice. Pea’s were stuck together with what looked like cheese.
