I think this place is overpriced and overrated, it’s 30 pounds for 1 person for an afternoon tea and while the quality of the food is good the portion is the amount for a kid.<br><br>Also they didn’t warm up the scones which is very disappointing.
A trip to York isn't complete without a visit to Betty's Tea Rooms. Pre booking is a must unless you want to queue outside for a table. It is like being transported back to the 1930s. The service, style and elegance with which this place is noted for is abundant. The food was delicious, and you'd be surprised how full you become after eating Afternoon Tea, please try Betty's you will not be disappointed.
