I had been eating and drinking in The Boat for nigh on 40 years. I have not been for the last 5 years due to an unpleasant experience. However, I see new management in current reviews, so I guess we take a punt.
Had heard about it being a good pub. They weren't wrong. Service was brilliant looked after. Food was awesome. I had the duo of lamb, which was very nice. Would recommend . The wife had a rump steak I did sneak a bit and it was fantastic. Would visit again and definitely worth it just for the food.
Just had the most loveliest new years day meal here very welcoming lovely relaxed atmosphere the staff are lovely we will be back next week try out the Sunday roast xx ?Parking: Plenty of parking space
