Railway Inn

Busy, but managed to fit us in with a same-day reservation. Nice interior, great food and the service was fine, including regular updates on when we could sit down as the previous guests hadn't left yet - I take that to mean they were very happy with their visit as well!

Came across this place while exploring stopped for a light lunch .The service and the food was above expecteations it was delicious.<br>We would have liked to return but time did not allow but look forward to going back when time allows

Called in for a quick drink, made very welcome as we sampled some local ale. Was just having the one but was too good so had a few more....we were walking! We didn't eat on this visit but the food smelled good and those who were eating all seemed very happy. There was a bit of a lunchtime rush and for me it's a good sign when it's explained there could be a wait for food as that generally means it's cooked to order and not mass produced.
