Such a warm welcome when we arrived, was our wedding anniversary with friends, not tried the LANDGATE previously and definitely not disappointed. We had a comfortable table, the bread to die for, I mean marmite butter!!! Wow. We shared starters. Scallops and pork yum. I had sea bass, would choose lemon sole next time. The venison was melt in the mouth, just right. The desserts were out of this world, cheesecake soft and light. So friendly the serving team doing an amazing job!!

I messed up the on line booking but the team there were very accomodating at a busy time. Food was top notch. Bread at start was to die for. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was just right with an excellent play list playing in the background. I'm normally a 10% tip man, but left 20% as I was so impressed. Great all round experience.

Brilliant starters- lambs kidneys & beetroot concoction; Mains: seabass with ink risotto & lemon sole with kale; Puddings: cheesecake with cherries & pannacotta with plums. Totally on point- pity about the table of 3 females with penetrating "laughs" and 3 middle aged men at the other end. Food always excellent here.
