Bamboo Basket

Used to come here regularly a long time ago, and after coming back after many years, I'm pleased to say the food and service is still great! A huge range of options, and fair prices for the quality and portion sizes!

Bamboo basket is a lovely family run restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff. Dennis and Alice have done a great job on bringing traditional Asian food to the streets of Epsom. All of the food is lovely I would recommend Beef rendang or a chicken katsu curry to fill your stomach. Chris’s joyful character is always on display and Tom’s cooking never fails to disappoint.

From the moment you enter the tiny restaurant you feel like you’ve been transported to an authentic street food shack in the depths of Shanghai. The food is fresh and a mazing. You won’t find anything here that looks or tastes like it came straight from a packet courtesy of an Asian food wholesaler. This is about as authentic as it gets.
