Woodys fish & chip co

Best fish and chip shop we've been too. Travelled from London and raved about them 2 years ago when we were last here. We only go to this fish and chip shop while we are here as no fish and chip shop could be better than them. The food is absolutely cooked to perfection. The batter is just delicious. On holiday for a few days. Always have fish and chips at the seaside. Took a look in the nearby chippies and decided on Woodys. I had large haddock and medium chips. Wife had fishcake and small chips. Ordered food and waited a very short time while it was freshly cooked, boxed and bagged. We took food back to our holiday home and ate it. It was all absolutely delicious and the portions were plenty. Best we've had in a long time. Great value too.

I hadn't visited Kent since 2012 and I told my friends that all I wanted on my return to the UK was proper fish and chips.<br><br>This is where they took me and I couldn't have been more pleased!<br><br>I gave the poor girl at the register a hard time as I put on a thicker than usual American accent and acted like I had never even heard of fish and chips. We all had a good laugh. Hope to return one day!
