Banny’s British Kitchen

Order taking was slow, food portions seem to have dwindled massively (I seemed to be missing lots of chips!), yet the prices have increased. Food arrived hot, but inconsistencies in sizes of fish as mine was scrawny and burnt yet another was quite big and cooked well. Really wanted dessert but was pressed for time and when asked if I could get the sticky toffee pudding to go, the answer was no! Apparently they don't do that. Disappointing trip all round.

Called in this time around for an early tea/dinner. The Staff were very polite and helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and well cooked. Our only observation was that the fried haddock today seemed smaller than usual. Everything else was fine.

Excellent fish & chip restaurant. First visit in several years, it has been refurbished, very smart & clean. My wife had the regular fish & chips. I had the Indian fish & chips, very tasty. Staff friendly & courteous. We will definitely be back when next in the area.
