Friendly welcome but pub looking like it needs a bit of TLC chairs looking tatty tables chipped and not particularly clean as very sticky with menus plates etc sticking to table<br>Food from Carvery was good choice but not hot ideally need heat lamps turned up whilst gravy was scalding hot as I found out by burning my thumb<br>Overall we were happy

Visited on a weekday lunchtime. Had a voucher through the door for 30% off mains. Had 2 carvery and Hunters chicken and lasagna. Beer was well kept Pedigree. Didn't have to wait long for our food, carvery was OK but choice of meats was 2 only, turkey and ham, I didn't want ham and portion was not very generous, 2 thin slices of turkey! The other meals were OK. Bill was £47 with discount and included 2 coffees and 2 pints.
