I have never been in this pub, passed by many times & always meant to, but what a lovely evening.<br>Met with friends, we sat in the conservatory, which is a really large, airy room. It was nicely warm in the early evening sunshine. We had pre-booked a table, which I recommend doing as it got rather busy in there around 6 pm.<br>The food was so good. Went for a family meal with daughter and partner they had tomato soup starters one with lasagne which she said was OK partner had a 80z steak which looked OK and I had a mixed grill which was not to a good standard as the chicken was dry gammon to over cooked and the 4oz steak was full of fat and was like leather ended up taking it home for the dog ?. I dont think I'll be in a rush to return unfortunately. Expected a better meal all round for £58 ??
