Popped in for a carvery with three children at 455pm and we were well looked after straight away. Great tasting carvery which the whole family enjoyed. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Lovely friendly staff who were clearly dog lovers.

My Dad and I showed up on a busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation, most places treat you like a leper if you turn up on a busy day without booking but the Staff at the Plough were great and managed to squeeze us in the pool room.We had the Sunday carvery and enjoyed our food, The service was good and my plate was piled high. The staff were chatty, friendly and accommodating. This pub is no frills, affordable and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.
