Lovely country pub and food very good, *but* took an hour to be served after our prebooked time and my wife's roast was covered in gravy after we had made it specifically clear that she didn't want any. And there is a dreadful damp smell around the garden entrance caused by missing roof tiles, of which the staff seemed unaware

Simply the best Sunday roast we have had out in YEARS. Wine list was good all very drinkable. Service was somewhat chaotic but could be due to Sunday Lunch rush. Will definitely be back, the rest of the menu looked good too so look forward to that!
