The Crown Pub and Restaurant

First time visiting for us... walked into a very smelly pub, smelled of smoke and musty smelling carpet. Ordered and sat down and all we could smell was smoke because the back door to the smoking area was open which is not good when you don't smoke. Really friendly pub with great food. Lovely place to stop off. There's limited parking out the front and I advise reversing in as people don't slow or stop if you try to reverse out. Didn't see a disabled toilet but there was one step with Hazard tape on it to visit the bathrooms and step free to get to the tables and bar.<br><br>Parking: 5 parking spaces to the front of the building.<br><br>Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available

Visited with family as part of a large group for lunch. We contacted the restaurant in advance for information on GF options and were reassured with the options provided. We weren’t asked to, but submitted out menu options in advance and the chef replied to say thank you and that it was really useful to have. The food on the day was really good, we all enjoyed. The staff were lovely and there was a lot of choice of drinks. Would recommend.
