Indiana Restaurant and Takeaway

First, the food and the ambience were both very good. But the service? We were the only table on a Sunday night, arrived soon after 6, and didn't get our food until close to 7.30. They won't serve you tap water, technically legal as they are not a licensed premises, but would go a long way to improving goodwill. The Indiana was suggested to us as an excellent Indian restaurant. As Indian cuisine is my absolute favourite, I am always open to suggestions along those lines. There are very few Indian restaurants which I could endorse without some degree of adverse comment, but the Indiana excelled in every respect. We tried this restaurant as part of the above scheme. We have now been there twice and are booked again next week. We can’t fault the service and the quality of the food is excellent - we will definitely continue to visit this restaurant as overall it is outstanding. A good find in our local area.
