This pub is under new management. They had been open about two hours when we arrived. The welcome was great, the internal decor stylish and comfortable and service excellent. We visited the pub because we had moored our narrowboat near by. It was planned to be a quick stop......we ended up spending a couple of hours there in the afternoon and revisiting in the evening.
Lovely pub in a lovely setting. We visited after a sunny walk around Foxton Locks. We managed to sit outside in the gorgous pub garden! The food was good and service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again when next in the area.
