The Bishop on the Bridge, Winchester

We thought with its prime location that it would be busy on a Thursday lunchtime. We were pleasantly surprised and found a table with ease. You order at the bar and just sit back in cider seat and watch the river and the world go by whilst you wait for your food. The staff were lovely and the food was well presented. After the hustle and bustle of the city centre this was a lovely quiet, peaceful change to enjoy a delicious lunch.

Always worth a stop when in Winchester. Great spot along the water with an ample patio. The biggest disappointment was that there were a lot of the beer and food options that were sold out. If that’s the only issue then it’s a good one to have.
