Even though the staff are very friendly there is always not enough checkout staff available. There is always a queue and it is half way around the shop before another checkout person arrives
Usually this shop is fairly quiet, but unfortunately if it does get busy there's only ever one till open and this can cause a long queue. I dont do queues, so whenever possible i will just return later and its back to being quiet.
I went in to get tomatoes to make a quick sandwich for when I come home on the bus. The shop was quite full and the cashier's were busy. It is a smallish Iceland branch but I was surprised to see it so fully packed it was easy to find things as well. There was free parking outside the shop as well which was very convenient. Very nice.
