Time to Eat

Called in for the first time and received a nice welcome. Ordered the £8 full breakfast each , which included a tea or coffee and white or granary toast. Hubby enjoyed his filtered coffee. I had a choice of a mug or pot of tea. Went for the mug which came with hot water and teabag so could make it as weak or strong as you liked.<br>Breakfast came out nice and warm ,fresh and well cooked.<br>Cafe was spotless with nicely spaced out tables.<br>Noticed magazines...read full review

Elgar breakfast had an overall soggy feel to it as bacon could have done with being crspier and muffin was warm but lacked crispness of toasting. Scrambled egg was dry and not soggy. Not particularly attractively presented but service was quick. Coffee comes by default with cafe maid cartons rather than fresh milk which I would have preferred. Although not expensive ambience still remains on drab side and not inclined to come again. Pleasant greeting on arrival.
