Took my wife yesterday (22/9) for Sunday roast and both of us were absolutely delighted. I had the haggis pakora and my wife had the prawns for starters.Both were ample portions and properly cooked. The main was the rare beef which came with broccoli, cabbage, carrots and both roast and mashed potatoes with Yorkshire pudding. I just want to say that the Sunday roast has a timing window: I was told it wasn't available after 6 PM, but nowhere on the online menu (via Google Maps or Alston's official website) says this. To anyone coming to this restaurant from abroad like myself, take precautions and get here early if you want the Sunday roast. Had a drinks at the bar and dinner and it was great. Lots of gin and interesting cocktails. It is located just inside the train terminal and is underground and has a speakeasy vibe to it. Reservations are recomemded
