104 Carolgate, RetfordWe went to the brew shed for the first time on a Sunday. We have eaten many times before. We didn’t know what to expect with the Sunday dinner. But everyone that had it really enjoyed it. It was delicious. We will be back again soon. A party of 9 adults and two children nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all the staff working hard at the Brew Shed.

W Carr Rd, Ordsall, RetfordOrdered from here for the first time today after a bit of a rubbish day. We are so happy we did. The food was beautiful (the fried feta was gorgeous) and was such a lovely touch when I saw the little message they left on our order. Made the day end on a smile.

Vegetarian options: Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, I'm not vegetarian but they are very accomodating to those that are.
Dietary restrictions: The staff always ask if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
Parking: This little Bistro is right at the side of the canal you can sit inside or out and watch the ducks and swans my granddaughter loved it as she could feed the ducks as they come out of the water for the food. It's just a lovely little spot to sit and have a coffee would highly recommend it ?

Rithul Indian Restaurant at Elms Hotel
The Elms Hotel, London Rd, RetfordExcellent meal , family with two young children. All meals were cooked to perfection . Very nice meals , children had a tikka mild and also rice and adults had a Chicken and Lamb. All the sides were perfect and lots of food. Staff very friendly and quick with drinks and chatty to our boys. Would highly recommend and will return again soon.
Parking: Parking big enough , has a camera for entering reg for restaurant users only
Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff , food order made a little milder and rice to perfection for them. They loved the Poppadoms ha ha lovely

The reaturant was quiet with little atmoshere a shame really, most of the buisness seams to be take away, indian food always taste nicer when eating out. More people shoud try eating out here and the atmoshere would improve if a little busier.

I had been looking forward to it all day. rang about 5:30pm and ordered a 8:30pm delivery and it got to us about 9:30. when the food arrived it was very bland and didn't taste of anything I was disappointed. I know it was probably a busy time for them but they shouldn't send food out like that only place fit for it was the bin. ordered a chicken tikka masala, lamb passanda, onion bhaji,poppadoms, naan breads. me amd my partner took one mouthful each and that is all we had the bin ate the rest. I didn't want to ring up and complain as I know they were very busy and didn't want to create more chaos for them.

Thank you for your warm hospitality! I must say, this place is truly a hidden gem in Retford. It was my first visit, and I absolutely adored the ambiance, especially with the delightful live singer adding to the atmosphere. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to others!

Poker table lying on its side crumbs all over the floor coushions piled in the corner.. Glass partition needed cleaning also piping and widowsill very badly need dusting and covered in dead flies/insects.

On my arrival I was greeted by two lovely, friendly ladies. After a little chat I was offered a try of their gorgeous Irish curry as id never heard of irish curry before. Which was very kind. Also Half asleep I’d jumped out the van grabbed a handful of money. I was 10p short for my order and without question one of the ladies said that’s fine. So I got fish chips and mushy peas for £10.50 and it was absolutely gorgeous. I’m very fussy with my fish and chips I like quality food and I never leave reviews but I’m so very impressed. Highly recommended. I’m sure on our next trip I will be back ❤️

The service was great from the guy at the reception area, I didn’t get his name to the two people who waited on us, predominantly Emmanuel who took our orders, served us and asked if everything was to our liking which it was .
There was Alishia from Arizona ( America ) who was just as polite and engaging as Emmanuel, made for a great experience overall.
I cannot rate it highly and will be going again at the first opportunity to celebrate anything.
The decor of the room and the quality of the food was exceptional .

Leaky teacup ltd (gluten free kitchen)
25 Bridgegate, RetfordI had a fantastic experience at The Leaky Teacup! This welcoming spot is a treasure trove of card and board games, perfect for a cozy afternoon. The atmosphere feels very homely, and the owner, he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and genuinely cares for his customers. He took time to chat with me and my partner, showing us around the venue since we were from out of town.
I also enjoyed their magic single stock and I absolutely loved the gluten-free chocolate cheesecake—truly delicious! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time with friends or family.

If you have never been ,you have to go service was fanatastic, presentation of the table and the food was excellent it is value for money. Will definitely be going back. Beautiful beer garden
