We've visited a few times and had the carvery today which was very nice. The service was prompt & polite. Nothing negative to say and we'll visit again.

The Forest Lodge Hotel

Stayed here last night it greatly situated a 2 min walk from sherwood forrest. The room was clean and cozy with a very comfy bed. The eggs bendict we had for breakfast was beautiful , the service was excellent I would definitely recommend.

Bella Vita

We went to Bella Vita for Mothers Day. It was my daughters suggestion as she had been before and said the food and service were good. The food and service were very good indeed. The food was quite simply delicious. I had 2 x starters, a main and a pudding. It was that nice. Highly recommended! The service was also how it should be, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I'm definitely going again! I absolutely could not fault the place. Well done, Bella Vita!Parking: They have a very large free car park.Kid-friendliness: We had our 3 year old grandson with us, and they gave him a free pudding!Wheelchair accessibility: The door has an almost level door threshold for easy access for wheelchair users.

The Cafe in Sherwood Forest

Tucked away in the charming arts and crafts center, this little cafe is a nice spot to take a break. With seating options inside the center and outside in the peaceful backyard, it's a relaxing place to enjoy a coffee and pastry. The kind service staff aim to please, though they struggle to keep up with the demands of customers at their small operation. The coffees are nicely brewed and the cake slices are fresh from the bakery. With some extra hands on deck during the busier times, the service could be sped up to better match the calming ambiance. But the cozy location and tasty treats make this a cafe I'll return to when I want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The Big Fish

Passed this place on way to collect something. Some of the best fish, chips and mushy peas we have eaten in a very long time. Quick friendly service. Fresh hot food. We live around 40 minutes away but will definitely be making a special trip out to eat here again!!!

Nice place to visit after a walk in Thoresby estate. Great service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff always friendly and welcoming. The cake portions could be a bit bigger.

McDonald's

Me and my partner who live in edwinstowe visited on the evening of the 13th March 2024, we were looked after amazingly well by the manager Holly.Holly went far and beyond to make our experience enjoyable at mcdonalds new ollerton. Hollys customer service skills are second to none and she really does put the customer first, mcdonalds should be proud to have such a dedicated employee.We will be back, thank you Holly x
