Restaurants in Wooler
Milan Restaurant
Milan Restaurant, 2 High St, WoolerAll round good quality - there would be something here to suit everyone dining in your party. They were even able to make some changes to the dish for our Nanny so she could have her preferred dish. Service was really friendly. Meal portions were really big! We have a few left overs to take home with us. Lovely spot to eat in Wooler.

The Good Life Shop
50 High St, WoolerAbsolutely delightful little shop. The owner was most accommodating and fulfilled all our supper needs with bread, cheeses, meats, olives, baklava. Listened to what we wanted taste wise and recommended the perfect cheeses. Even suggested a place to visit on our return home (Beamish living history museum) which we did and can vouch for that as a great place to visit to.

Doddington Dairy Milk Bar
11 South Rd, WoolerMe and my girlfriend love this place! Whenever we come to wooler, we always make it a must visit. We find pricing to be very reasonable because the quality is top notch. They have so many different flavours to choose from, and the more difficult choice is whether to have it as an ice cream or a milkshake. Both are delicious, I might add. Highly recommended salted caramel and banana flavours!

Red Lion Inn
Main Road, Milfield, WoolerAte here twice on a recent trip back 'home' to North Northumberland. Sunday lunch and midweek 'supper' with friends. Good food, fresh ingredients, well presented by friendly staff and sensibly priced. Beer was pretty good as well!I have no hesitation in recommending the Red Lion and I'll be back!

The Anchor Inn
2 Cheviot St, WoolerWe came to the Anchor on New Years Day. We were told in advance that on that day they were only doing a roast dinner. The staff were really friendly and when the dinner came, it was enormous We had several roasties each and 4 slices of pork, (there was a choice of meats). When the veg came, it was, all freshly made, new potatoes, carrots, swede, peas, broccoli and red cabbage plus proper gravy. We discussed the price while we ate because we hadn't asked how much it was. Imagine our surprise when we came to pay and the dinners were only £9.45 per person. We tried to go back the day after but they were having a well earned rest. Next time we are in Wooler, we will definitely be back.

Geoff Allan Catering
28 South Rd, WoolerThe restaurant is comfortable, upscale with a laid back atmosphere. Offers a variety of sandwiches, main course dishes and sweets. Ideal for tea and coffee or a glass of wine too. It is open quite late but check opening and closing hours as l assume it will alter depending on the holiday season.I enjoyed the whiskey tour and the staff created a welcoming atmosphere throughout.
