Whalton, MorpethJust visited for Sunday lunch,I have to say it was the best I’ve had in years! There was not one complaint…. The service was amazing, the food was excellent, quality and taste out of this world ….. it so great to see a team providing such a great experience…. Highly recommend.

North Rd, Ponteland, Newcastle upon TyneNice place didn't have food as had already eaten elsewhere but food being served looked ok and plenty of diners in so must of been ok, drinks a bit expensive as the restaurant I'd eaten in across the road was cheaper for their drinks but clean tidy and pleasant staff and dog friendly

Kirkley Cafe
Thorneyford Farm, Kirkley, PontelandCalled in for breakfast on the way back from a short break. Very popular with cyclists and we went on a Sunday morning which meant it was quite busy. Service was fast and the staff were very friendly.
Parking: A very large free car park on site.

Bell Villas, Ponteland, Newcastle upon TyneThis place strikes an excellent balance between sophisticated but relaxed and comfortable. We went at night and lighting, decor and furniture make this a really pleasant place to eat and relax. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was good with nice twists on Italian classics without being pretentious. The only small complaint was that one of the diners was pescatarian and ordered a fish dish. However the potatoes that came with it were served cooked in and served with bacon pieces! So, definitely let your waiter know any dietary preferences when you order anything! Overall, a lovely evening.
Vegetarian options: Definitely let your waiter know your preferences so they can advise on any dishes that aren't vegetarian.
Parking: Remember to validate your parking with your reg number when you arrive.

Had a quiet Thursday night dinner. I Wasn’t expecting such a pleasant surprise.
Lamb chop starter was delicate and warmly spicy and tender.
Paneer main course was banging too.
The service is excellent and also the food is great value for ££.

9, Bell Villas, Ponteland, Newcastle upon TyneHere on a Friday night. It's 2-4-1 on cocktails all day and night and we've been paying just under £8 for 2 pints in other pubs, so 2 cocktails for about the same price is a no brainer. It's 7o'clock and people are just starting to come out. The drinks have been excellent. The bar staff professional with I hint of cheeky, that is to be taken as a compliment. The toilettes are clean and well maintained. They do serve food and there are a couple of children in. The only reason I haven't scored a 5 *is because we didn't eat. So I feel I can't score top marks if I haven't tried the food. Well done YoLo.
