7 Bridge St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaI was doing my daily walk 5x's up and down the promenade it was after 16-30 public toilets were closed used their loo had a soda and orange very friendly then about 40mins later used the loo again met my husband we had a coffee best one I've had all the way along the front . This will be my go to place in future ?

Due Fratelli
132A Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaFabulous restaurant with excellent service and value. Spacious and comfortable, there is a 3 course menu at £14.95 which is fantastic value. I don't often give 5 stars for anywhere but this place is worth it.

The New Ship
42 Gibson St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaHaven't tried the food yet, but the welcome is a warm and friendly, lovely social atmosphere with pool table darts and very cold, wonderfully tasting beer (after all, it is a pub ?). Not to mention a lovely view of the sea through a short walk through a side turning.

Parking: There is a fairly sized car park, a very short walk across the road from the new ship, and there are a few spaces beside the pub when not receiving deliveries
Kid-friendliness: Large beer garden at the front of the pub which has a walled primiter so very safe for toddler's and young children to run around and have fun
Wheelchair accessibility: Low level entrance and exit

Oriental Chef
81 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-Seaafter moving to the area 6 months ago we finaly had a chance to get a takeaway from The Oriental Chef, tonight we walked in off the street about 630pm the order was sweet n sour chicken balls, chicken curry, beef curry egg fried rice chips and also got complimentry prawn crackers when the order was ready,
the service was excelent from the young lady on the counter,the flavour of the dishes were slightly lacking in flavor ,but the portions were large and enough to keep leftovers for another meal ,the price was reasonable and the time from order to order ready was iro 15 minutes, being from the hospitality catering busines we know how hard it is in the kitchen to produce food in a short time frame well done chef , overall we do recomend and will revisit ,
the 3 stars for atmosphear we only pertaining to the general decor which is in need of a modern update

1 Cleveland Ave, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaWe get food from here weekly. The service is fantastic, friendly staff. On the very rare occasion something is missing it is rectified immediately with no disruption to enjoyment. Doner meet tastes good and has a nice texture. Chips cooked well. Salad fresh and crisp and nicely pickled. Cheesy garlic bread tasty. Food always arrives in good time and piping hot. Can’t fault it!

Flame Pizza Express
70 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaI ordered from here for my sons birthday. There was 8 kids and me and my partner. We asked if we could order the holiday special deal and it was no bother for them, the lady who took our order was lovely, so helpful and friendly she let us change our order to suit what the kids wanted. When the food came all of it was hot and tasty. One of the nicest take aways I've ever had. Every thing we had was lovely so much food for excellent value. 10/10.

Bodrum Kebab House
84 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaGreat food, friendly staff and reasonable priced. Option to sit in or take away. Meal was enjoyed by all and menu had a really good selection to choose from. If we’re in the area again we’ll be sure to pop in for another feast!
