Oddfellows Coffee
Oddfellows Hall, Shaftoe St, Haydon Bridge, HexhamWe stopped off here for a break travelling between Scotland and Robin Hoods Bay.
What a beautiful little Coffee shop to find in a lovely village.
We had 2 very creamy Lattes and a Bacon, Brie & Cranberry toastie and a sourdough bacon sandwich.
A nice stroll over the bridge as well to stretch our legs.
Travelling on the A69, you must stop here for a tasty break.

General Havelock Inn
9 Ratcliffe Rd, Haydon Bridge, HexhamWe had a meal there on New Year's Eve. The restaurant is just lovely - very atmospheric medieval style room, very nicely decorated as well.The staff was very friendly, polite and welcoming, were very happy to explain the food options that weren't on the menu. They also brought out some free appetisers - bread with butter and olives. The food itself was delicious, they even brought out complimentary veg. The only bummer is how long did it take for the food to come out. It was an hour between we came in and when our food was brought out (and we had somewhere else to be on New Year's Eve), and it wasn't exactly busy either- only two other tables apart from us. Everything else was just superb!
