Grandchildren got presents from santa, treats for reindeer, elf scroll, activities at the table. Also was contacted before to find out about grandchildren so santa knew something about them. Great value, very friendly staff. Excellent morning out. Well done Lavender Bee tea room.

The Blue Bell Inn
A697, Crookham, Cornhill-on-TweedStopped off for a night here. Service was brilliant. Had a great dinner in the pub with some tasty ales. Pudding was served up in the kitchen if the cottage so we could put our feet up in front of the fire with the dogs. Perfect evening. Really nice rooms with en suite.

Cornhill Village Shop & Post Office
Main St, Cornhill-on-TweedAfter cycling hundreds of miles on an ultra distance race on the May bank hol weekend, I stumbled on this place. Excellent sandwiches and snacks and, most importantly, friendly staff. They even let me re-charge my flat devices whilst I ate. Recommended

The Black Bull
Etal, Cornhill-on-TweedFriendly, popular village pub with a good vibe. Food isn't served all day every day, so check online before you visit. The menu is simple and reasonably priced. The food is good and served with a smile. Thus is a family and dog friendly pub, in a village surrounded by great walks. Part of the Ford and Etal Estate attractions, why not visit Ford in the morning, hop onto the narrow gauge steam train at Hetherslaw and arrive in Etal in time for a civilised pub lunch.
