Restaurants in Down

The Dufferin Arms
35 High St, Killyleagh, DownpatrickA great mix of traditional catering and contemporary cuisine. The atmosphere created by the live music and the delicious options of food is a sensation to experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly above the norm but the presentation of dishes and the extra ingredient “made with love” make up for it. Fantastic experience overall!

Murphys Bar & Restaurant
78 Market St, DownpatrickOn 07/09/24, My sister & I called into Murphys Bar & Restaurant in Downpatrick for dinner. When we arrived, a member of staff, showed us to our table & showed us the menu. We also ordered a drink each & then gave the waiter our order. The service was very quick & we didn't have to wait for long till we were seated. Murphys Bar & Restaurant is in Market Street in Downpatrick & is easy to find. It's well worth a visit if you're out for the day in Downpatrick & are thinking of getting some lunch or dinner. Midweek lunch dates with their specials menu that include excellent salads or hearty stews/soups and sandwiches. We love coming and so will you. Peking Garden
40 Killough Rd, DownpatrickI think portion sizes are too big, however the food is among the best from a takeaway in Downpatrick. I like their noodles, salted chili chicken, and chicken fried rice. Curry isn't too sweet like in the Golden Dragon. Just remember one serving does two, or leftovers.

Subway
Unit 9, The Market House, Unit 9 Market House, Market St, DownpatrickI am from Newcastle so I've only been in this subway twice lately and both times, it's been such a nice experience. Each time I've been served by a different male working on their own that day and they've both been so genuinely nice nd effecient. I wouldn't normally take the time to leave reviews but have been so happy with the service I had to share. Best subway I've been too because of these to young guys. Keep up the good work. Next time I'll get your names.

McDonald's
The Outlet Bridgewater Park, BanbridgeWas in mcdonalds both at the boulevard Banbridge and Newry late this evening. Usual high standards but liking coffee still can't enjoy a decaffeinated one for some unknown reason. I've been to Portugal Spain Australia to name a few and they all serve the prementioned.
