Visited for first time in two years as live outside Northern Ireland now. Brilliant as always, service is personable and the grilled cheese sourdough is to die for. Great coffee and sweet treats too. A great spot if you're ever in Banbridge.

The Halfway House

Absolutely amazing food, called tonight on a busy Thursday evening and the staff were very accommodating and attentive, the manager, Diane is worth her weight in gold, friendly chatty and couldnt do enough for us! I had the tacos (taco Thursdays) these alone are worth paying a visit for - first class! My partner had the Thai green curry and it was amazing aswell. I have friends who live in Drogheda and they always look forward to the food and the atmosphere in the halfway! Can’t fault it! Fab local restaurant!

The Vault

Food was amazing! Staff were really friendly and gave you your space. They let you sit for a minute with the drinks menu before asking what you want.The food is very fresh and tasted great!The restaurant is nice and cozy and looks lovey, and you're not having to shout to the people you're with to hear eachother, definitely going back!

The Clubhouse Grill

Went here for a dinner with my other half quick service and beautiful food staff where very friendly and accommodating would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Will defo be back!

Mac's Traditional Fish & Chips

I only get a Takeaway, maybe once a month and usually get a burger, which is so tasty. However, I went for a fish supper tonight and it was absolutely delicious . Thank you so much

Salt Kitchen Banbridge

The staff here are what really stands out. Went this evening with my adult kids and the staff were fantastic. Had a cake for my son and they discreetly took it off me on the way in and brought it out with candles after our meal. They even sang Happy Birthday (I did gesture to sing low though because my son was a little mortified ?).Most young people get a terrible rap a lot of the time and it's usually unwarranted, these guys were lovely, cheerful and very helpful, what a great bonus to this restaurant! The food was lovely, great vegan options albeit limited. Risotto was fab. The chunky chips were undercooked although hunger meant they were eaten! I did mention it when asked about our meal at the till & the the guy took off the price of dessert which I thought was very kind considering we didn't actually ask for new chips. Overall, a great experience with lovely young, polite staff who gave us a great service. We will definitely be back, it's such a nice chilled atmosphere, a great contemporary vibe without being pretentious. Thanks guys.

Tesco Cafe

Dietary restrictions: Food was lovely, but there are items on the breakfast fry that I can’t eat. Baked beans and the bread products. Would be nice to be able to substitute extra mushrooms and Hashbrowns for those items, but was told that can’t be done.

Captain Cooks

Lovely wee cafe restaurant with a extensive menu at a reasonable price. The lady that served us was very warm and welcoming. The food was nice and were good sized portions. Sorry no photos was too hungry.Kid-friendliness: Pasta was available for kids and the lady even asked if we wanted chicken in it. Was a great sized portion. Nice to see something else on the menu than the usual kids meals.

Friar Tucks Banbridge

Friendly, efficient family owned business . Well worth a visit .Parking: Normally a load of parking close by free on street. If busy very reasonably priced car parks close by .Kid-friendliness: Welcomes families.

China Palace

This is our go to Chinese. Tried several when we moved to Banbridge and none were as good as our previous local. This one is better. Found it by accident. We didn't expect much because its in a petrol station forecourt but as soon as I got out of my car the smell hit me and I just knew it was going to taste good.We've tried about 20 items and each one has been delicious.One more thing, the wee girl on the counter taking orders is an absolute sweetheart.

Thai Noodle

Highly recommended the thai red chicken curry with fried rice & the noodle boxes, nice friendly staff & owners, really fast service every time I've been in to pick up or had delivered?

Magic Kebab

Great takeaway for food in Banbridge. A different and unusual palate of tastes with the owners being Syrian. After the change of ownership the House special pizzas have not been as tasty with changed toppings but otherwise kebabs and pizzas are amazing. Who was Chef tonight?? The chicken MELTED in the mouth, superb, maybe chunks perfectly cooked, gentle Tandoori butter chicken with a fresh and tiny kick, likely the best Peshawari nan I've ever eaten for taste & crispiness, great craic at the till, super service, five stars.

Soho China

This is our go to Chinese; it’s the best in the town. Never had a bad meal. Always cooked fresh and always full of flavour. The salted chilli ribs and bang bang chicken are unreal. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The Copper Lab Coffee

Capital of Coffee in South Down - you will have to travel far to find better espresso & filter coffee.In addition, they have a retail section to suit various styles of brewing & tastes. The guys also ensure they are stocked with the latest on trend pastries & bakes.Questionable banter, but get a seat far enough from the till and you will be fine ?

After covid I have been here a few times for coffee and this time for a take away dinner. I choose mince pie with whole potatoes and cabbage and carrots. Just plain good home cooking. I took this home but I had a coffee latte and kit kat whilst there. Sitting outside in the fresh air. Very nice and outside is pet friendly. Always enjoy here and a walk around the industrial units for dog thrown in. Give it a try.

I have had poor fare here before I but I thought it only fair to give good comment this time. I had won a mighty bucket for one on the KFC app so I thought I will call and take it home. It was about 5pm and quite busy. Usually I can not have trouble with freebies or points on app. I went inside anticipating this but it sailed through. The young guy processed it and in no time he handed me it. Well done. Took it home and for a change it had a large breast piece, a good drumstick person two good sized fillets and two hot rings. No chips or anything else come with the mighty bucket for one. So at home I rustled up a salad and had an enjoyable meal. Four stars this time is only but fair. Thank you KFC for the app free gift.
