Restaurants in Ballymena park

Dougies Goodies
17-19 Church St, BallymenaThe cakes out of here are unreal. I have been buying cakes for my kids from here for many years (my eldest is 30). So soft, sweet and delicious ? I also would pop in if passing for a coffee and a bun. The staff are always lovely and well presented. It's fantastic to see them doing so well! Highly deserved!

Slippys Chippy
1a Loughill Rd, Cloughmills, BallymenaWhat a find this place was. Salted chilli chips were top notch, exactly like a chinese takeaway. The beef burgers were among the best I've ever had, thick juicy and fresh. Will be back for more!

Merchant Fish and Chips Shop Broughshane
82 Main St, Broughshane, BallymenaGreat Food as expected from an award winning takeaway restaurant. When busy the fish could end up getting served quickly and be a lot greasier than other times. Portions are huge (for me) so single fish often comes with a few chips which is a nice touch and often enough!Best fish & chips in town non the less and worth the slightly higher price than others in the area!Parking: Plenty of street parking up & down the Main Street and never too far away 10-25 metres has been my experience on 3 visits.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramps or steps. Direct access from the public pavement. See photos.

Crave Kitchen
Greenvale St, BallymenaFood was delicious, but it seemed to be you leave your plates behind and go up to the till to pay. That was fine but I asked the girl at the till for a takeaway box as I wanted to take half of my meal home. As we waited for someone to bring out a takeaway box, I noticed that another waitress had cleared our table. This was disappointing as we had paid £13 a meal and I wanted to finish the rest. Overall lovely food but would be good if waitresses came to the table to clear away food so you can ask for takeaway boxes.

The Village Inn Dunloy
2 Bellaghy Dr, Dunloy, BallymenaSmall bar but lots of friendly, efficient staff keeping the drinks flowing. This was a family event so considering the crowd that was in they handled it well!
Parking: Just opposite the bar is some waste ground used as a car park. Uneven surface (gravel) so may be problematic for wheelchair users. But there are a small number of kerbside parking spaces as a better alternative for ♿ in very close proximity and the bar itself is wheelchair accessible.

Juliano's
26-28 Broughshane St, BallymenaSome things are little to expensive, but the rest is amazing, nothing to complain about, girls or guys, who ever works there are amazingly friendly and respectful. I hope, they get paid more than in others places. Who ever owns the place, open more of these, maybe open like a mobile one which goes to different places for example red arrows or north west 200, festivals etc, anyways nice place

Granny Annies Ballymena
17-21 Broughshane St, BallymenaThe decor is lovely, music is good live and a playlist.
The prices are reasonable and drinks are delicious. We had a grannies angel and fiddle me silly. There is a smoking area with tables outside and the location is really handy also.
The only issue is the music is very loud everywhere there is no 'quieter' area so you can't talk and there is no dance floor.

Tim Hortons
Larne Rd Link, BallymenaJust had a coffee which was lovely. The female staff member noticed I had a stick when I was ordering electronically, and when it was ready she brought it to where I was sitting. It was so kind of her. Lovely staff
