The cake selection was incredible—so many delicious flavors to choose from! I went for the red velvet, and it was absolutely divine—moist, flavorful, and with just the right amount of sweetness. I also appreciated the variety of eggless options, catering to various dietary preferences.

Was disappointing that people were not told they shouldn't stand and smoke by the door. Went in and enjoyed my book and cuppa, but left because of the smell of smoke as a large group arrived, ordered and stood by the entrance, with the door open and smoking. Left early due to that.

Church St, Stanwick, WellingboroughFamily meal out on Saturday 26th October (party of 8). Parking not too bad but dont forget to register your number plate as soon as you go in or you will get a fine. Lovely outside seating areas and nice and clean. The pub has a nice local atmosphere and is warm and receiving. Drink prices a little high for me, one glass of large wine is £9 !! I had a pint and my wife a mailbu and coke was £10. Restaurant area is cosy and the staff are lovely and friendly especially, the young lad with glasses (David?) who went above and beyond and is an asset.
Okay the food, starters which we didnt have looked nice, my sister had the Prawns Pil Pil which she said were lovely and spicy. The others had the Scotch egg and all agreed it was yummy and the bacon in the jam was delicious. I ordered the Pie but with Chips and a side of onion rings, my Sister and brother in law had the Pork Belly, and others opted for the Salmon/Gnocchi, and Pie with mash and veg (the veg is non existant - 2 tiny carrots and a green stork). The Pie was superb and my wife said it was the best pie she had eaten. The meat was tender and the sauce was delicious as was the pastry, and the chips were fantastic. The Salmon was tasty but the Gnocchi sadly let it down. The bone of contention was with Desserts, well infact the Cheeseboard. 3 people ordered this and had to complain: at £8.95 you expect a decent selection of cheese not wafer thin cheese, 3 small pieces of celery and 3 white cheese with no Blue cheese?? We did complain and they try to say they mix up the selection but all of a sudden they said they did have blue cheese? The piece of red leicester on the plate was also the size of a matchstick!! Big dish of pickle and lots of wafers but lacking cheese for the price. To be fair to the restaurant they did offer a free drink and one of the main courses taken off the Bill so they were more than fair and the service was excellent. The sticky toffee pudding, with sauce and ice cream was very yummy indeed.
The toilets were nice and clean but disabled access may be a problem. The pub was busy and had a very warm welcoming feeling to the place. We will be back to try the Sunday lunch very soon.

The salad is amazing.
Try their vegan sausage rolls, cheese and onion pasty, their specials are great. I am vegetarian but there are lots of pastries for those who eat meat - sausage rolls, bacon and cheese puff and other pastries.
They do different flavour milk shakes, as well as your hot drinks.
My favourite is the Belgium bun. My little one loves yum yum, small cupcakes and cinnamon swirl.
My hubby has anything chocolate, so the chocolate sprinkle cake is a must and or a Danish or two lol.
As a regular, the ladies know what I like. It makes us laugh.

We both had the meatball salad and it was delicious! Everything was fresh and the portions were huge! Fantastic value for money. The coffee was great too. The place was spotless, not a a speck of dust in sight, and the food was incredible yet so affordable, with a menu with so many delicious options to choose from, I couldn’t get enough!! I even ended up buying more food just to take home for later. It was prepared so well it felt like a home cooked meal rather than a takeaway. Now I have found this gold mine of a restaurant, I can confidently say I will never be going to another kebab place again… BEST kebab shop in Northamptonshire BY FAR!!

31 Kenmere Rd, WellingI hired beautiful and charming Georgie the 1965 split screen VW Campervan for our Bridal transport back on Saturday 12th October. What an absolute delight it was for myself and my Bride tribe to travel in. On the big day Kelly arrived in plenty of time, with no complaint about having to wait for us to finish getting ready, leading to a minor delay in us leaving for the venue. Amongst all the rush and chaos she remained calm and composed and drove us all safely to the venue in plenty of time despite there being some motorway traffic on the way. On arrival Kelly was happy to drop my Bride tribe off and have my Dad jump in so that we could go for a little drive just the two of us before the ceremony. To our amazement as well, she offered to stay around until after the ceremony so that my Husband and I could get some photographs taken with Georgie. Georgie of which was clean and maintained to a high standard, stocked well with some sweets and decorated beautifully with ribbons and flowers which matched really well with our colour scheme and rustic theme. Our guests were amused at my choice of vehicle initially but on the day could totally see the vintage charm and beauty that I saw and they too loved Georgie. We have no hesitations to use this service again in the future or recommend to others.

If you order delivery, it's worth going directly through their website - they offer discounts. The guys was very friendly, one of them gave our son a lolly pop, food was fresh and hot. 24 Sheep St, WellingboroughAn amazing kebab shop. This is a Michelin star kebab restaurant. Ordered XL lamb donner and XL lamb shish and chips on early evening on Saturday. Paid 30 pounds. Well worth the money. Potion size XL really is XL. The salad was given in a seperate box because of the fantastic size of the portion. The lamb donner is delicious and not dry. The shish kebab meat is extremely tender and like lamb steak. Chips are excellent quality for a kebab shop. The guy clearly sources quality ingredients. Friendly, happy staff. High quality restaurant food at a takeaway price. My families weekly Saturday takeaway. I am sure that 99% of people who order from this place have a 5 star experience.

Then my order came. Huge. Easily enough for three people. Also, delicious.
I highly recommend. Everything was nice but I was particularly impressed by the sesame prawn toast.
Side-note: Nice glass cabinet of figurine houses and colourful gold fish.

Food is first class fresh & tasty wether it classic fish & chips or classic Chinese food and a few others in between, you won’t be disappointed with this establishment. I’m very fussy when it comes to How clean food shops are and this place gets a big 10/10 from me. Staff are always polite and engaging when I visit, and there delivery service is prompt and probably the best in the town, delivery drivers are always polite and happy and on the odd times there’s been a mistake with order they don’t moan and fix any issues promptly. I really can’t say anything bad about this establishment in all the years I’ve been using them. Thank you ?

It has lots of independent shops with a couple of cafes and has a very friendly atmosphere with some interesting buildings. The bestbuys store even has a hot tub showroom! Well worth a visit.

Red Lion
63 London Rd, Bozeat, WellingboroughWe have visited here a couple of times for afternoon drinks, and on both occasions, we have received a lovely, warm welcome from the landlady, Jo. We will be back to eat next time, as the food selection looks delicious. Its good to know that takeaway is also available. The Red Lion, is a real asset to Bozeat and we look forward to our next visit Thanks Again.?
