50 Church St, Nassington, PeterboroughWonderful afternoon tea, one of the best if not the best we have tried thus far. Perfect balance of savoury and sweet. Options of herbal tea if you prefer. Everything tasted super fresh and the scones were warm! Coronation chicken was a total showstopper sandwich. Would’ve tried a milkshake but I was stuffed by the end. Quiet and calm place. Highly recommend booking even if you’re not having an afternoon tea. The couple running it are so friendly and kind.

Riverside Cafe
Mill Rd, PeterboroughLovely cafe right on the river. Very nice people, extremely reasonable prices, homemade cakes (always the mark of cafe quality in my opinion for the treats to be homemade vs. bought in). Delicious toasties and sausage bacon sub rolls. I really enjoyed the cream tea as well, excellent scones. I anticipate we will go back quite often, and I say this as an avid baker who sells treats and breads quite often herself :)

The Haycock Manor Hotel, Great N Rd, WansfordFabulous experience from start to finish. Greeted by the owner, swift check in and my room was beautifully decorated with great amenities - fridge with plenty of water, air con, quality bathrobe and crisp white bed linen. Fabulous bathroom with walk in shower and a large feature bath … Noble toiletries are always a bonus. Dinner in Prevost was EXCEPTIONAL. Each course delivered to our table by a knowledgeable member of the kitchen team & each course accompanied by a paired wine. It is the second time that I have stayed here and eaten at Prevost and I cannot WAIT to return.

Deli Cafes, Sacrewell - Origin8, PeterboroughThe food here is wonderful. Fresh and lots of variety and choice. The staff are amazing and if you talk to them they aare happy to help. Visitors need to be realistic during the school it does get busy, but iif you have special food requirements let them know in advance. Will definitely be going back
