12A Park St, SelbyThe fried starters were all cooked fresh and the curries were large, very tasty and different. Because so much is cooked fresh they made and adapted dishes for a Vegan in our party. Service was with a smile and first class. Prices were very reasonable, and there was plenty of food to take home at the end. Plus the sympathetic yet dramatic conversion of this old Victorian building gives the whole experience a very special feel. Highly recommended.

9 Market Ln, SelbyWhat a lovely little gem this is. If you find yourself in Selby definitely go here to eat. The food is cooked fresh and near perfect. I had a full breakfast and cappuccino and there was plenty of it. Definitely going here again.

3 Abbey Yard, SelbyI've been meaning to visit Thai Sunrise for some time and finally decided to go on a Tuesday to try their set menu options. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the flavors were incredible. The pad Thai, in particular, was unreal – perfectly balanced with a delightful mix of textures and tastes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Thai Sunrise and will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

The Drovers Arms Restaurant & Country Pub
York Rd, SelbyFirst impressions were of a pretty little pub fitting for the countryside in which it resides, small play area for the toddlers.
lovely covered outdoor booths and teepee covered seating area beautifully lit and well kept.
The inside does not disappoint either spotlessly clean charmingly decorated.
lovely friendly staff that are very dog friendly our little cavalier had biscuits and iced water at our table.
Mat one of the owners was exceptionally attentive to our needs.
The food was well presented and perfectly cooked I can recommend the fresh muscles. ?
All in all a fantastic country pub/Restauraunt Highly recommend.

135 Main Rd, Hambleton, SelbyStoped at The Owl for one night with my family and in overall it was very pleasant experience. We had a family room on the top floor and it was very quiet up there. Our room was spacious enough for four of us, beds very comfortable and level of cleanliness very satisfying. Check in and check out were very straightforward. Staff appeared to be very pleasant. We only had a breakfast at this hotel, which turned to be very nice. In overall this stay was a great value for money and very pleasant experience for me and my family.

Both times the food was bang on!We have now come to Owelet hideaway and ordered again.The food here is superb! Especially when on vacation you might be a bit hesitant to order, Don't be! Food is fantastic, service is fantastic and it came within 30 minutes!Trust me, try them!

Camblesforth, SelbyCame across this place on the way to Doncaster from York. Lovely atmosphere, the staff and the owner are very friendly. Even the customer who come here were so friendly, makes you feel welcome. The neighbourhood must be friendly to have such customers. It's not just the customer I interacted but the other customers were friendly as well.

44 Flaxley Rd, SelbyRight so first off I do not always believe social media hype about a takeaway and secondly I am a kebab snob, so before I commit to buying kebabs I always ask to try the goods.The owner was willing to oblige. It was the perfect balance between lamb and spices.Since I now knew a tray of kebab meat was on the cards. I moved onto ordering a 14" pepperoni pizza.Service was prompt and pizza was served hot.The pizza base was fluffy and the tomato base was light. There was enough cheese and pepperoni to make it just perfect!With the free garlic bread, It was 100% bang on. Thank you sir for the lovely food and I will be seeing you again soon.

23, 1st floor, entrance on, Market Cross, James St, SelbyHad a great meal here last Friday. Food was excellent. All cooked well, flavours were great, everything we chose was so tasty. The service was good, really friendly staff who were attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. We will be back again soon for our daughter’s birthday.

I ordered 12 x 16 inch pizzas for my fiancés 30th birthday party to be delivered at 6pm and they were delivered exactly on time and they even carried them into the house and set them out on the table for us!! Camblesforth, SelbyThoroughly enjoyed ourselves with a starter, main and desert. All absolutely superb. Great choice of starters, recommend the garlic mushrooms, just the right amount of garlic and a good portion size. The wife had a huge prawn cocktail, and again, superb and the kids had yorkie puds.
The main course was a carvery which turned out to be the best one we have had in years. Giant portions of meat and veg on side plates. Cooked to perfection, just like your mom or granny would do. Great selection of delicious deserts, too, for the piggy's in our family with room to spare!!
Can't reccomend highly enough, staff very helpful and polite. Wish it was closer to where we live!!

2 King St, Cawood, SelbyQuaint old Theakstons pub with good beer garden, which could benefit from some TLC, particularly just out the back. Beer is good and service was really friendly. Not sure if food is served but on day of our visit ( Sunday ) there was the familiar sight of a food van in the carpark, so I guess not, so just one star for food. Pub is full of character and tucked away down a side street next to Cawood bridge, best to park elsewhere and walk round if driving.

Church Hill, Wistow, SelbyOnly 1 star for food as none is served, only food vans on certain days, which is a bit strange. Our local pub, sadly looks like it will be closed from end of this week. So typical of pubco owned establishments which appear to be the majority of locals these days. No long term plan and no reward for hard work. Hope some new landlords can come in and prove me wrong.

Drax Sports & Social Club
Main Rd, Drax, SelbyDrax Sports & Social Club is a great place.
It offers a varied selection of popular good food including breakfasts.
We had the Sunday lunch, 3 plate sizes available, which was undoubtedly one of the best we have ever had, not forgetting the gorgeous deserts.
There is a lovely floral outside seating area which is particularly pretty at night.
This is a great place and we can’t wait to return.

I came for the Sunday dinner and it comes with plenty of options and again the staff were very helpful even giving me and my partner ideas for our son who's just short of a year old
