Had a lovely meal here. Staff are lovely and provide attentive service. Lots of tasty food options . I asked for doggie bag at the end and they provide the box for you to fill as you like which I thought was a really good idea.
Would recommend although you probably need to book if you want to go Fri/Sat as they were v busy.

Went New Years Eve - what can I say. Was 110% amazing. Greeted inside by Dani with two glasses of Champagne. Shown to our table and they had put a bag of treats there for Teddy - made me quite emotional. The food was amazing. Entertained by a Magician at our table - How did he do that trick???!!! He was fab. A big thank you to all the staff who work so so hard to make your visit wonderful- each visit as memorable as you could imagine. Happy New Year everyone- see you next time ❤️

Such a good spot with amazing vegan food! We had the vegan teriyaki chicken and the vegan hoisin duck poke bowls and they were so delicious, really convincing well flavoured meat and full of delicious vegetables. Even after surfing the portions were more than enough to be full and take some home. The hot chocolates with vegan whipped cream are totally next level too!

Found this little cafe kitchen whilst staying locally and needing something to eat after a 3.5 hour drive to Scarborough.

Quirky place, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff, we ordered a couple of sides as starters to share. Mac N Cheese, Cheese Tater Tots and Onion Rings. All arrived piping hot, fresh and tasted lovely.

Mains arrived of Clash of the Titans and a Goats Cheese and Red Onion Chutney Pizza! The pizza was huge and we could have shared it, so I only managed half on my own whilst my husband had his burger.

My only issue was with the pizza, it was soggy in the middle so when I cut into slices and picked up to eat, the toppings slid off.

Other than that we enjoyed, didn’t take a doggy bag because we were stuffed and couldn’t of eaten anymore of it anyway x

I think the meal was quite good, I absolutely loved the chips they were divine! The reason for the 5 in total yet 4 in food might be personal preference but I wasn’t a fan favourite of the fish. However in my opinions I think the prices are reasonable and good.

Kid-friendliness: There’s even a kids option for children, basically the same thing but a smaller portion and also a smaller price in fairness.

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s seating outdoors and if I remember correctly only one step to get in or there was no steps at all.

Got exactly what I asked for, this was probably the best breakfast I've had.
Everything was cooked perfectly and it was piping hot when it came out, All so fresh and amazing.
£12.50 for all that food, I Definitely got my money's worth, it's unfortunate to say that I actually struggled, I don't struggle with food ever but today nearly beat me. Staff are amazing and friendly from the second you walk in to the second you leave..... I WILL BE RETURNING.

This is the second time we've stayed at this super hotel & we love it! All staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, spacious and clean, the food is very good, especially the choice of breakfasts!
The location is good too, only 5 minutes' walk to the clifftop tramway/path down to South Bay. There is no lounge or bar, which suits us down to the ground, but a cafe opens every day until 2pm.

Rooms: Rooms spacious, beds comfy, large TV, powerful shower, plenty of drawer space.

Nearby activities: Within easy reach of South Bay with its many eating places, arcades, small funfair, clean beach & sea, deckchair hire, donkey rides, boat trips, castle. Open-top bus takes you to North Bay with another large beach, miniature railway, Sea-Life Centre and Peasholm Park. There are museums within waking distance.

Safety: We felt safe and secure the whole time.

Walkability: Only 5 minutes' walk to South Bay or Scarborough town. There is also an open-top bus nearby to North Bay and Peasholm Park.
We also walked the coastal path (Cleveland Way) to Filey.

Food and drinks: Food great. Never had such a wide variety of choices (6) for breakfast, from Full English to fruit & pancakes, in addition to cereals.

Hugs and Kisses to the Wonderful People at Rennards Fish and Chips in Scarborough England! Thank You for THE BEST fish, chips and mushy peas that I ever had, and I don't care for deep fried foods (I prefer my fish poached, grilled and pan fried with
mash or rice and salad). But coming to England I had to try Real fish and chips. To be fair, I tried 2 other places so that I could have a comparison, one was a fancy restaurant (way more expensive) and they just didn't meet the food I had at Rennards. And the hard working folks there are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL PEOPLE! If I could, I would fly from Canada, every time I craved their food. P.S We ate there twice and let me tell you...BIG PORTIONS, I couldn't finish mine, but the fish was still AMAZING cold. THANK YOU Rennards, Be safe, be well and be Blessed. Really well cooked and it was presented with a bit of flare. I shared the oysters to start. Very fresh and tasty. We had fish dishes and a steak main. All brilliant. We will definitely visit again if we're ever back in Scarborough

Never crowded but always busy with take away orders. We have enjoyed some of the very best Indian food available anywhere. I can’t believe there is better in Scarborough.

Parking: Give yourself time to find a space on the street. We visited twice, both times on a Friday evening and found spaces each visit.

Been here a few times and the carvery is always bang on. What stood out for me today was when I got mine and my daughter’s carvery, I accidentally put mint sauce on hers before mine. I tried my hardest to scrape it off as best as I could and admitted defeat. I went to the bar to ask for an extra bowl in order for me to split this up as my 9 year old really doesn’t like it, anyway the lady behind the bar offered us a completely new carvery and took me straight over for a fresh kids one. For me it was such a relief that I was able to do this, and she was also extremely friendly like it wasn’t any trouble at all. Thank you. X

I can’t thank them enough. It was my daughter’s 14th birthday and she really wanted a Pizza Hut pizza. Unfortunately, our Scarborough restaurant is shut so we ordered to take away. The lovely man behind the counter put a number 14 in pepperoni in 2 of the pizzas. We had 6 lovely different flavour pizzas and all were demolished in minutes. All thanks to the guy behind the counter, we will be back. Super friendly guy and great service.

We stopped off on the off chance that there was a table available. Bar tender was very pleasant and checked and thankfully showed us to a table in the conservatory.
We were given menus immediately and told to order at the bar. We chose the Sunday roast of which there was a choice of three meats, (beef, pork and chicken). I chose beef and my husband chicken.
Our food was presented within 5minutes. It was piping hot and in abundance! The waitress then returned with a plate of fresh veg (cabbage, green beans and carrots) and boiled potatoes, again there was plenty and more! The meat was absolutely delicious and complemented with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings and tasty gravy!
I cannot fault this restaurant and would highly recommend!
Outstanding in my book! Well done!

I would hazard a guess from some of the memorabilia that owner/former owner is a leeds fan too so even better MOT!

Whilst on our break in Scarborough, we opted to try Xing Long Chinese Takeaway, our food was delivered on time by a friendly driver, food piping hot and well packaged, Crispy duck was Awesome, the chicken chow mein amazing, best we have had in a very long time, beef was so tender in the curry and plentiful.
We totally enjoyed our meal and highly recommend Xing Long Chinese. We will definitely return and enjoy again when back in the area,

This is a famed restaurant in Scarborough with a fantastic menu and specials list. There are lots of unusual fish and meat dishes here - think venison pasta and fish names you need to google. Ultimately, I thought the food was a little disappointing at this price point, but that may be personal taste as I found everything a little over sauced, which might not be an issue for others. Also, despite taking advice on the menu, I ended up with two very similar fish for boyh starter and main, so I suggest going for more of a contrast. The people here are very welcoming, and I would definitely go back if in Scarborough again.

Had a weekend in Scarborough (20th - 22nd September) on the Saturday evening heading back to our digs we stumbled upon this pub, were late on so wasn't sure if we would get a drink or not. Not only did we get our drink, ended up being a very memorable evening including a sing song on karaoke, shots galore. Woman behind bar were legendary, not to mention the customers made Me and my partner more than welcome. Well done to all.

The fish and chips were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, although behind the facade we sensed they were a bit fed up. A lot of crashing of cutlery and crockery going on behind us. But it was vile weather so will let them off!

Alright, so I went to KFC the other night. Yeah, that’s right, I’m admitting it. I needed some greasy, deep-fried therapy, alright? And, lemme tell ya, walking in, it smelled like regret and childhood memories…basically heaven.

So I’m there at the counter, and the guy behind it? Looked like he’d rather be ANYWHERE else in the world, and I get it. I mean, who actually dreams of slinging fried chicken at midnight? But c’mon, buddy, gimme a break – I just want my bucket of sadness and crispy joy.

I ordered the famous bucket meal. "Famous" is a big word, but whatever. It’s a bucket, they dump chicken in, I take it home, and that’s that. The chicken? Hot, crunchy, probably radioactive. I don’t care. You get that first bite, that crispy skin – it’s like hearing a song you haven’t heard since high school. It just hits ya right there.

Then the sides come in. Mashed potatoes? Looked like they were poured out of a tube. And the gravy? I don’t even know what’s in that gravy, but it could fuel my car if I ran out of gas.

So yeah, KFC – it’s messy, greasy, questionably edible… and I’ll probably be back next week.

The food and coffee were delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. Clearly great care had been taken with the presentation and attention to detail.
Even on a grey and rainy Sunday, we found the cafe to be bright and full of life.

Excellent breakfast, great service, with a good soundtrack. So pleased we skipped a hotel breakfast and headed a short walk to Mojos. Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices as well as traditional breakfast options. All served on a piping hot plate. We had a full English and a vegetarian bagel breakfast. Substitutions offered for a couple of items one of us isn't keen on and saved the usual trading of food on arrival. Roomy tables so not on top of other diners. Best breakfast in quite some time.

Very nice ice cream; albeit the ordering system could be a bit better. The queue was constantly pretty long but I suspect that this was due to people being indecisive of what they want; even as they get to the counter.

It was tough to even see the flavours, toppings, etc available with the queue of people, so I understand the frustration of choice. I think they could easily make the menu smaller or easier to digest - there’s just too much choice ? you feel a bit pressured to just order your go-to than to experiment.

They couldn't have been more apologetic, and we received a free pizza and bottle of coke as an apology. It was all hot and as Ordered. We will certainly order again. Thanks!

We called in on the off chance of a roast dinner. It was 2 30 pm, and the staff went out of their way to find us a table for 4 people and our dog . The roast dinners we had were excellent. Lots of meat, veg, and two huge Yorkshire puddings . One of my group wanted scampi, and he wasn't disappointed . The portion size was large . One that any hungry person would have trouble eating. Another good thing is that the quality of food was excellent . I would recommend anyone visit if they were in the area.

Excellent food proper plates full of homemade chips and freshly battered haddock (order a medium) looked like a large it was gorgeous best tasting haddock I've ever had and my daughter tried their foot long battered sausage her first time having one she absolutely loved it I couldn't believe she ate the whole thing it was near enough same size as her arm. Manager & staff are 100% friendly and very helpful their desserts looked amazing we was gonna order but unfortunately was far too full after our meals. We'll definitely be back 5*****+ stars
