Pheasant Fields Ln, Skelton-in-Cleveland, Saltburn-by-the-SeaBeing very honest we only visited for a Covid jab.However, we were met just inside the door by a pleasant young lady who asked if we were eating.On answering no she showed us into an area set aside for the injections. Both my Wife & myself commented on the fact that how welcoming and pleasant the Longacre appeared and that we will definately make a point of visiting for a meal & drink.Will both look forward to it.

47 Milton St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaPleasantly surprised. I'd worked very late and was just looking for a simple dinner. What I got was great food at a decent price. The discovery that made me choose to leave a review was the really well put together menu with an amazing range of ethnic Malaysian dishes, including some genuinely appealing vegetarian options.
Well worth a visit.
Vegetarian options: There's a huge edition of the menu on the wall. Right in the middle is a vegetarian section. Delicious sounding dishes with clearly described ingredients, along with a clear indication of their geographic and cultural origins. Whether or not you're vegetarian, choosing a vegetarian option still means you're fully a part of the Asian eating experience.
Parking: This shop is on the street. However, there's not only plenty of street parking, there's a car park directly opposite. It's a Tesco car park but generally pretty empty at the kind of time when you're likely to be shopping for takeaway.

Royal Pizza Saltburn
28 Milton St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaWas staying in a hotel nearby and this place had some good looking pizza reviews! They don't take bookings but we went in on Saturday evening and was told it would be around an hour wait for a table. They put my name down, took my phone number and said they'd call when the table was ready. It was cold and rainy so we went back to our room to wait. 40 mins later got a call to say the table was ready. We were seated immediately by the friendly staff and quickly ordered our food and drinks. Good size pizza with lovely tomato sauce and plenty of perfectly melted cheese. What made the pizza really special, was the amazing crust. The base of the pizza was nice and thin but the crust was lovely, thick and doughy. I can see why there's often a wait for a table here. We'll definitely be back.

1 Pearl St, Middlesbrough, Saltburn-by-the-SeaThis was the first time my partner and I tried this takeaway, we were very impressed with the quality of food, the chef specials chicken tikka and lamb tikka were phenominal, the rice was cooked excellently and the cheese naan was delightful.
Food - 5/5 Absolutely delicious!
Speed of Delivery - 4/5 food took 95 minites to arrive however this was understandable as there was only one driver working due to issues beyond control of the takeaway.
Price - 5/5 We paid roughly £20 per person for a main, a portion of rice, a starter to share and a naan to share. The portion sizes were more than enough for myself and my partner neither of us could finish our meal fully but really enjoyed it.

Eastern Paradise
8 Amber St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaI ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night and I was really worried when it arrived 25 minutes after I ordered it. I thought it was going to be awful coming that quickly, but this was by far the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had in my life. I loved that I could choose how spicy my curry was going to be and all the food was beautiful. It was also amazing value for money. I'll definitely order from here again
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian spring rolls are gorgeous and the mixed vegetable curry is perfect - you can even choose how spicy you want it

8 Station St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaExcellent value for money and a great cup of tea. Staff very friendly I travel around North Yorkshire a lot during the summer and have visited several all are good but I think Saltburn's Cooplands is the best in my experience. So far ?

Unit 9, Station Bldg, Station Square, Saltburn-by-the-SeaStaying in Saltburn and wanted a quick and easy meal. Ordered a variety of pizzas and parmos. The food was tasty and the portions huge. We have lots of leftovers for lunch today. We've never had parmos before and were keen to try the Teesside speciality. They were delicious!

Rapps Cafe
11 Milton St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaHad breakfast and eveening meal at Rapps, during out stay in Saltburn. Full English is fantastic, excellent tasting sausages, thick cut bacon, some of the tastiest black pudding ever, mushrooms that taste of mushrooms, beans that haven't been messed with, all with a toasted muffin.
Excellent pancakes and syrup for the little ones.
The baked hake is simply delicious and one of the best meals I've eaten out in a long long time the thermodore sauce is amazing and the smashed potatos, green beans and tenderstem briccoli cooked just right. Frickin Chicken burger was delicious, as was the stick beef pappardelle. Little one loved the pepperoni pizza.
Lemon meringue sundae feeds two if you've eaten all your main. Whipped cream, ice cream and a smashed meringue, with a fantastic lemon sauce that hits hard when you reach the bottom of the bowl.
Draught bitter excellent as is the IPA if you like it hoppy.
Service staff are cheerful, helpfull and knowledgeable especially when you have 3 generations eating.

St Hilda’s Old School
30 High St, Hinderwell, Saltburn-by-the-SeaWe just love this village cafe! We have been about 5 times now and never been disappointed. We are not local but now always make sure we call in when we are up this neck of the woods.
It has such a lovely atmosphere! It's like a cosy village hall. Spotlessly clean and the ladies running it are so welcoming whether you are a local or a visitor. Talking about locals there were plenty of locals in using the cafe which is always a good sign!
We had a flat white, latte, coffee cake ( I always do and can highly recommend it!!) and a raspberry frangipane. All delicious! There is a real cross section of food on the menu from a bacon or sausage butty to Bhudda's Bowl! And lots of cakes and scones to chose from.
Lovely little gift shop at the back with locally made goods.
Check the opening times and just be aware that they are not open on a Saturday.
Would I recommend here? Without doubt!

Real Meals Deli & Cafe
25 Milton St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaWent in for lunch and all was very nice. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and was very helpful explaining all of the gluten free options that were on offer. The toasties that we had were very nice and the sicilian lemon cake was so good. I would recommend going to this cafe if you are in Saltburn.
Dietary restrictions: They have a good selection of gluten free options and they're very good at explaining what is and isn't gluten free.

Station Square, Saltburn-by-the-SeaVisited on a weekday lunchtime and it was already busy, which is a good sign. The open space in the restaurant is plentiful so you're never cramped next to other customers. We made our menu choices and I had the Pad Thai with Prawns. It was ample in size and very tasty, it ticked all the boxes. The staff were helpful throughout and the place was exceptionally clean. Throughout I saw customers juts come in for a drink as it has a relaxing atmoshere. Would recommend.

What a fantastic place! Everything was perfect. The waiting staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was incredible and perfectly cooked to order. We both agreed that we can’t remember enjoying a meal in a Restaurant/Bistro as much before and we consider ourselves as very experienced foodies. We had a lovely chat with the owners and they are lovely. We fully intend on making a trip to R & R Bistro our monthly treat. Thank you all.

The Guns Bar
15 Milton St, Saltburn-by-the-SeaBrilliant characterful microbar in Saltburn. A great selection of draft ales all with plenty to keep most happy for a few drinks. No handpulls but the variety and friendliness more than makes up for that.
We sat upstairs because Jack the bar manager was great to chat to about beers and the like and it really added to the experience.
The building downstairs has lots of interesting areas that I feel would make each visit a little different each time. Fabulous beer choice helped by an honest and knowledgeable bar manager. I absolutely loved this place and wish it was a little closer to home so that I could frequent it more often.

Tyreman Court, Mill Ln, Skinningrove, Saltburn-by-the-SeaEnjoyed it here but would have liked a few extra bits like a mixing bowl and a spare tea towel, could do with a new chopping board and sharper knives but it was clean, warm, good location for exploring the east coast and dog friendly.

The starter in particular was one of the nicest things we have ever had. Staff were by lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. A perfect end to a week away.

The Brown Cow
55 High St, Hinderwell, Saltburn-by-the-SeaWhat can I say, a fantastic little pub in Hinderwell. The landlord Mark is very friendly and we visited twice for an evening meal while holidaying nearby.
The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great and we chatted to people from other parts of the UK.
Good food, nice prices, and entertaining conversation.
Well worth a stop there, and we will definitely be going back next time we are in the area.
