Normanby, Sinnington, YorkA rustic village pub, which is popular with the local community. Nothing fancy but with a nice atmosphere.
The food is AMAZING - locally sourced meats etc; home-cooked, and excellent value for money. I had the steak pie, which was outstanding - meat that melted and with suet pastry! I also had the treacle sponge with custard (made with milk! ?)
This is the second visit and looking forward to the next visit.

Appleton-le-Moors, YorkVery friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay with a dog. Meals very good. Prices reasonable. Always busy so book ahead for meals. Comfortable beds. Our room a little on the small side if we had brought our 2 small dogs. Good location for days out and walking. Enjoyed our stay.
