51 Wheelgate, MaltonDelicious food and great service. We hadn't booked and walked in on a Saturday night. Totally expected to hear that they hadn't got any room for us, but luckily they had a table available and it was such a fab night. I recommend you try this restaurant. It wasn't too pricey and the food was so tasty.

1 Scarborough Rd, Rillington, MaltonI recently visited the Coach and Horses Pub in Rillington with a group of seven friends, and it was a fantastic experience.
Pamela, the owner, was incredibly nice and polite, making us feel right at home. Her hospitality was exceptional, ensuring we had everything we needed.
The pub offers a great selection of drinks, catering to all tastes. We enjoyed playing pool and darts, and the beer garden was a lovely place to relax.
Despite not serving food at the moment, Pamela and her husband kindly picked up food from a local takeaway for us, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
Overall, the Coach and Horses Pub is a must-visit. With Pamela’s great hosting, excellent drinks, and fun amenities, it’s a top spot in Rillington!

39-41 Commercial St, Norton, MaltonThe food is all cooked fresh to order, and tasted fantastic. They were short staffed when we were there, but were really apologetic about our food taking slightly longer than usual and gave us free drinks to make up for it. They were also run off their feet with delivery orders. The food was definitely worth being a little patient for.

19 Newbiggin, MaltonOrdered this evening and got a pizza, burger & chips and a pasta dish and can honestly say this is the best takeaway in this area and surrounding! Lovely food, very tasty, great quality and generous portions too! Absolutely worth using this takeaway and will be using again☺️ Driver called me to find my address (i live in a rural village) and was very kind too! Recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

47 Town St, Old Malton, MaltonCracking pub with fantastic food, beautiful kept beers, diverse menu and run by people who care about and love food. We absolutely loved our meal today and can not wait to go back soon, the Bunny Chow was sublime.
Vegetarian options: Anything is customisable, one of the owners is vegan and everyone just gets it! It’s a privilege to eat here.
Dietary restrictions: Fantastic awareness of food allergies and inclusive catering.

Overall the food was very good though the pancakes were a little strange (very spongy/cake like) though tasty nonetheless. Value 4/5 as it's not at all cheap (i.e over £8 for an egg sandwich).

12-14 Market St, MaltonVisiting Malton and chose this lovely little place based on previous reviews. It did not disappoint!
We had brunch with our dog and staff were very welcoming for the dog - there was a water bowl and a server kindly gave her some treats at the end of our meal.
The food was amazing: we had a veggie breakfast and a stack of pancakes. There was a slight mixup with the breakfast but was very quickly and kindly sorted for us. Best cooked poached eggs I’ve ever had! Pancakes were lovely and fluffy with a gorgeous cherry compote and good portion sizes.
Overall highly recommend and will be back when visiting Malton again!

9 Saville St, MaltonHaving a walk around Malton today with 2 friends and came across this cafe. Scone with jam/cream and a pot of tea for £4.50. Excellent. Lovely decor nice and airy and lovely staff. Will definitely call again.

5 Saville St, MaltonFirst time visit for my sister's birthday and we will certainly be returning.
My mum and sister both has the Cajun chicken breast and I had the classic burger - both my sister and I couldn't get enough of the mexican rice! We all really enjoyed our meals, service was first class and friendliness of staff was brilliant.
The only thing we thought was letting it down was it needing a refresh on the inside and out - don't let the exterior deter you from going in as the food is top notch - it's a fine hidden gem in Malton and does complete justice to the town's rep as 'The Food Capital of the North'. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so nice - music not too loud and it was clear everyone was enjoying themselves.
